1) Structural Performance
Starrco Pre-Engineered Modular Offices are designed to comply with structural requirements of the UBC, SBC and BOCA national building codes, with regard to load-bearing design, roof deflection and lateral load resistance. Starrco offices can also be designed to meet earthquake zone requirements.
2) Fire Protection
Starrco's DL wall systems have gypsum board panels and commercial grade 20ga. steel doors with 18ga. steel frames. All components of these systems are non-combustible. The sandwich panels have been tested by Factory Mutual Testing Laboratories in accordance to ASTM-E84. The panels were found to be completely non-combustible with a flame spread of less than 25 and a smoke density of less than 20. Copies of the test results are available upon request.
3) Electrical
AII electrical components are UL listed. The electrical handy box meets NEC (National Electric Code) requirements
4) Accessibility
ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant locksets and door closers are available upon request. Starrco's standard doors meet the width requirements for the ADA.
5) State Sealed Drawings
Drawings sealed with a professional engineer's stamp are available upon request. We can provide sealed drawings for all fifty states. Contact the factory for the cost of this service.
